on may 5th, 2018, this was my second shoot. at first i recruited these models to be featured on otto mag, but laila and julia became added members to the team later on (smiles in spanish). the purpose of the shoot was to express my dreams. those who know me personally know i dream every night and its always a different experience. majority of my dreams are nightmares; i dream about trauma, apocalypse, world disaster, death, my anxiety, and the list goes on. though its exhausting, it has been an outlet to help me with my struggles, figure out decisions, and reach deeper into my mind. my art is ideas grasped from my dreams.

the reason why hands are emphasized in the shoot is because i lucid dream and realize i'm awake in my dream by looking at my hands. i move them around and touch my skin, just to try and grasp if its real or not. everything i see moves slow, or stands completely still. i can also never see my reflection, or who i am. there is a dark intimacy expressed through my photos with the models because i've never romantically or sexually dreampt of a male figure; it has always been another woman. my twisted imagination created a fantasy i live in every night, where i see despicable scenes or feel beauty. to this day i still ponder my dreams. -Tiff.
